Aftercare procedures following a liposuction must be followed to achieve optimal results. I knew this much, but I had no idea what exactly the aftercare procedures were. I looked into it and ended up finding a Lansing plastic surgeon’s website. It says, "Following your liposuction procedure, Dr. Sampson places his patients in a compression garment. These garments are used to compress skin to new contours and will assist in reducing post-operative swelling."
